Last week I received a letter from Mission Without Borders. It seems preparations are beginning for Christmas in Eastern Europe! Sponsors have the opportunity to send Christmas gifts to their children (or choose from an age/gender specific box to be prepared in the field country). However, only about half the children in a given home have one-on-one sponsors. Mission Without Borders uses funds to support the entire home- so that all the children in a sponsored home benefit from warm, nutritious food, clothes, and other necessities. So there is a need to raise additional funds so that ALL children get a Christmas gift- whether or not they have a specific sponsor.Donations can be made at the website.
